Session 6: The Devils are in the Details Report
General Summary
As the party approached the glade with the screaming devilkin, they executed a plan to counteract the evil fey's main weapon: their screaming. Plugging their ears with wax and taking advantage of some extremely poor perception checks, the devilkin were dispatched without too much trouble and their horde taken as a prize. With them gone, everything could go back to normal and the riverboat to Nir-fork was free to leave with the party on it. The trip was not without incident however, as the boat had to stop briefly along a random stretch of riverbank to make some engine adjustments. While the boat was stopped, a will-o-wisp appeared and tried to lure the passengers off the boat. When some PCs investigated a horde of zombies attacked the boat, but the party was able to fight them off (with some help from the gnome Bilmin Singlecloak) for long enough to enable a getaway.
