Session 14: Whodunnit Besides the DM, Obviously? Report

General Summary

As the investigation continues, several clues have cast suspicion on Lieutenant Humphrey in spite of his alibi. The party digs deeper and after a chase involving a person of interest, they decide to try to get into Humphrey's tent. With some trickery and a little luck, they manage to do so and eventually open a very large footlocker found there. Found inside is the unconscious, bound, and gagged form of Lieutenant Humphrey himself, who upon waking exclaims that some creature has taken on his appearance and is impersonating him. The imposter is revealed to be a doppelganger and is summarily executed. The party is not materially rewarded, but they can now leave the camp and are owed a personal favor by General Uloth Maul.
