Session 7: The Cipher Report

General Summary

Notes for self: slow down, leave room for PCs (all PCs, including the quiet ones) (especially the quiet ones) to talk and respond and act. Offer up more initial information in a puzzle so they know that they have options. Encourage interactions with the NPCs, and make them more effective by really honing in on their personalities and conveying each distinct one better. (More voices, and diction differences)   Vath says they did "adequately". Rexeth explained more about what they know about the Cipher and Etangen. No encounter with Vallol, who did get away with Roun and the copied Cipher, which is an accurate enough thing to get them to start searching out stashes. Which the PCs do not know.    We think Velik was rooming with Guy.   They all are in line for a commendation.   A lot of it simply was communicating what I wrote in my Episode 7: The Cipher plot article. I didn't deviate all that much and it was a bit of a railroad.   Frella Station was interesting. The scenario there was fun. They're there as a middle man, and we can assume that Starfleet knows about them and is leaving them alone for some reason.
