Session 64: The Blood Hags. Report
General Summary
SESSION 64: THE BLOOD HAGS 21st of Ares. The companions of Franchise K are new to the Guild known as the Acquisitions Incorporated. The Franchise was formed by Oman Dran during the holiday festival between the month of Gaia and the month of Demeter in the year of 499 CD in the city of Camelot. On the first of Zeus the new franchise was moved to the city of Soteropolis 308 leagues south of Camelot. Soteropolis the second largest city in the realm of Avalon was the last strong hold of the Black Legion Empire on the continent of N Azure before being defeated during the war of the Ancients. During the 3 months that they have been in the Soteropolis region the companions have discovered and stumbled upon a secret organization that has been operating for several centuries. This organization known as the Crimson Brotherhood has been doing everything it can to bring back the Black legion empire. Due to the cost of the war of the Ancients the Pendragon line of kings have not been able to extend its influence in this region until the year 400 CD with the arrival of the 7th and 8th Brigades. This was 400 years after the War of the Ancients. The king personally asked Oman to send Franchise K to Soteropolis to find out information on what is going on in this region. King Uther Pendragon seeing the influence that Acq Inc has in the Camelot and Sparta regions with information gathering needed a franchise in the Soteropolis region. Troubling reports from the region had the concern of the king. This information led to his assassination before he could share anything with the crown prince Author Pendragon. Now a young King Arthur is facing the possibility of war, treason, and who knows what else. Several key advisors were also assassinated that had the same information that Uther had been receiving. Now the King having to pick new members to his knights of the round table has to face whatever is coming with very little information. He now must rely on outside sources like Acquisitions Incorporated along with his army. The discovery that the dragons are indeed alive only adds to the pressure the new king is feeling. While Franchise K goes about their business of making money like any guild is going Todo have either stumbled or gathered information in the past three months. This would also include the discovery of the Crimson Brotherhood, 6 dragon eggs, a secret army that has been operating in the Soteropolis region for you knows how long. The party has also discovered that Governor Abraham Harker who was killed at the end of the Battle of the Ancients has returned as a Death Knight. Franchise K was able to get the deed and ownership of Harker's Keep. This was the Head Quarters of the Crimson Brotherhood. The more these companions spread their influence around the region the more they thwart the plans of Lilly Harker the former wife of Abraham Harker. They are also beginning to discover her influence in the region including bounties being put on their heads by this organization. The most recent was two Blood Hags who sent into the town of Tyrus looking for the Sarah Innsmouth the daughter of Dagon. A very deadly fight ensues with three party members almost meeting there makers. This conflict was maybe one of the most deadliest encounters they have faced so far with several companions being wounded. Once the conflict was done they discovered wanted posters signed by another organization discovered by Franchise K the Venom Blades. Once the conflict was over Sarah came to the inn to discover her dad who she has not seen in many moons. She feels a bond with Karrin yet she does not understand this bond because she has never seen Karrin. She also has a physical attraction to Marik. Dagon and some party members tried to tell her that her mother was still alive. That this bond that she is feeling is called a dragon bond. This she refused to believe because dragons have been dead for over 500 years. She is way older that she thinks she is. That due to a very sacred oath that was broke by her mom that Dagon and her had their memories wiped. Sarah thinks that here dad is losing it refuses to believe in what he is trying to tell her. While this conversation is going on a 8 year old Elf starts screaming at his mom in the inn about the murder of his father who is a gladiator traveling with the travelling gladiators group known as Gladiator Conflict-Gladcon for short. This group is why they came to this village in the first place. This would be the 11th murder committed when this traveling caravan is in town. Oh the life of an adventurer.
