Session 66: The Venom Blades Report

General Summary

The companions of Shining Eclipse continue on with the investigation of the murder of Thalmike Dutgek. Dimmir using tatics of a true warrier was able to defeat the gladiator and owner of GladCon to earn a spot in the show later that evening. Dagwyn spent several hours looking for the assassin that attempted to kill Zandi. Jasmal and Dagon went back to Thalmike wagon and found more information on his investigation of the murders. He seem to be keen on five names that were promiment famlies going back to governor Abraham Harker. In his notes he states that these famlies that came with the Harkers when they arrived in Rome. These familes are well known in the Soteropolis region running very successful bussiness in the Soteropolis Region. He had questions about why these famlies were being targeted. He also had notes on the orgaization that he thought was tied to these assassinations. He figured the other five vicitoms were killed so that it would not draw atteniton to five promement families that were killed. A victom in each city to hide the true motiavation of his crime.    Zandi and Arceven went to the trailer of Kaelen Virel. There they found the trailer to be trapped and need a code word to disarm the trap. The codeword was Zandi name with a heart added sixth slot. Inside they found detailed maps on one of the walls linked with a very fine silk like cloth linking his spree of assassinations. Thalmike was victom 499. They found several sealed contracts that had not been opened yet. Zandi found his jouranl with all 499 vicitoms listed including her and her unit that was killed five years ago by Kaelen. Arceven found a station full of herbs, plants, and minerals that was being used to make his poisons. He did find a list of indgrents used to make the deadly posion used to kill Thalmike and the attempt on Zandi. Arceven learned that indgreents used to make this deadly poison were located in the Socrates Forest. When Arceven asked Zandi about it he was told that she could not reveal the secrets or the wereabouts of the listed indgredents. Zandi found two pictures of a set of twins, a boy and a girl. This stired memoires realizing that these were her kids. That this assassin who has tried twice to kill her is her husband. Now she wonders where are her two kids who would be six years old now. She finds a map of a jungel forest with a house in the trees but the locations of the forest is unknown to her. Arceven has no idea of a jungle forest. Dagwyn looks at the map and is able to tell Zandi that the forest is in South Azure home of the Black Moon Empire. Arceven and Zandi discover that the contracts for Thalmike and Sarah are recent. Thalmike was two days ago and Sarah was a ten-day ago. The map on the wall has Sarah circled and this mark seems to have the preplexed him.    Zandi dealing with memories of her past coming back and the confusion and frustration of what is going also starts to hear a female voice who is talking to her. This voice asking her if she is worthy being picked. Will she show fealty to the Order of the Phoenix. Will she fight for North Azure and protect its land, and people from the unjust who seek to rule this land. Will she use her skill set as a member of the Order of the Phoenix to seek out those who do injustice and with in the law protect them. Zandi ask who she is and the voice identfies herself as Belladonna. A twin dragon who has a brother by the name of Arsenic. The Betrayer messed with there egg unknown to the Order of the Phoenix. Using dark magic she was hoping to corrupt the egg. Instead of being born red dragons they were born brass dragons and there breath weapons were posion. The twins had to prove there loyalty to the clan because of what was done to them. They grew up as outcast in the beginning untill Io stepped in and set things right. He chose the two uniquely skilled dragons as garaduians .    Now the party must figure out who ordered the hit on Thalmike, Who has ordered the hit on Sarah now that there is an offical contract on her. The next question would be is the husband of Zandi still in the area. Since they have been in town several people have asked about the wearabouts of Sarah. What danger is Sarah in. Sarah still struggles with the what she was told. She does not understand this bond she has with Karrin. She is confused and her guard may be down at the moment as she works through the infromation given to her by her dad. The party has earned a spot on the roster of the Gladcon that night. What will be the next move for the heros of Soteripolis?
