Session 40: The Court of Colors Report

General Summary

Having traveled to Rexxentrum in pursuit of rumors about Happy's order, the party first decided to spend some gold from the mummy lord's tomb. The found their way to the Court of Colors, a strip mall of sorts where Happy found a shield, Aerilyn a staff, and Gaius an amusing pair of rings.   The party has also picked up two new rumors that might interest in the future:   First, the Republic of Tal'dorie recently petitioned the Dwendalian Empire for assistance against some threat. A big ask since the Empire is actively at war. The King has turned down the request but speculation abounds about what threat the Republic was facing, as that part has remained undisclosed. Some theories speculate raiders such as orcs or the Clasp or perhaps an assault from the Iron Authority to the south. Other's maintain that the threat comes from a demon horde or cultists of the Whispered One.   Second, a fellow named Conrad has offered the party gainful employment in the Cerberus Assembly's excavation of the ruins of Aeor in Eiselcross - a series of ice-bound islands to the far north. He has promised ancient artifacts, lost secrets, and "crazy locals that feast on the body of a fallen god." If the part wishes to accept they should use his name in Icehaven.
