Session 13: Gravid or the Grave Report

General Summary

After promising the pirate captain immunity for his assistance, the party sailed for the southern shores of The Cradle's island in the Gravid Archipelago. They made shore with two of the crew, Fernand and Olivia, and set off through a mangrove swamp. Navigation through the swamp was a bit tricky and the jungle was full of traps. After several hours the party came upon the hut of a witch, with whom Rhiannon struck a chord. The party traded many things, a ring, the cigar box of demon ichor, and a song from Gaius. The song, has result in Gaius losing his voice, though the witch assured it was temporary. for these trades you learned more about the island's temple and Uk'atoa. This temple is one of three along the Menagerie Coast that was used to lock Uk'atoa away. It would seem that Kaikoa is trying to free the great serpent. Leaving the witch, the party encountered a well, that seemed rigged to alert watchers to their presence, but they were able to identify the nature, and Aerilyn's magic has hidden you as voices come near.
