Session 29: By The Word of an Ox Report

General Summary

With Aero;yn staying behind to spend some time with her family, Rhiannon, Happy, and Gaius traveled south on foot in search of seemingly magical tower described to them by their ox. Along the way, the party stopped in Tussoa where they encountered Elias, an old friend of Giiaus. Old friend claiming he was owed some gold. But you got squared away and Elias was able to direct you to a torn flyer posted by the tower's owner, advertising magical services. A few short hours walk later you arrived at the tower at dusk. While there was some confusion on getting in, you eventually made contact with Larissa of Lore the owner of the tower who claimed to offer answers to any questions. The first ask was whether Happy's father was dead or alive. Dead was the answer, but it came with another tidbit of secret that knocked Happy of axis, leading to threats and his eventual departure from the meeting. Giaus and Rhiannon remained and were able to learn more about the last two temples of Uk'atoa as ask for leads on the demonic incursion. Larissa asked you two wait until morning for the second answer, apparently to give her time to conjure of devil of the Nine Hells to interrogate. The presence of this powerful fiend, alerted Happy and Rhiannon in the night, causing all three of you to storm in and interrupt the process, but you still got your answers in the end, and a lead on secrets buried with the dead in Saltwallow Bog.
