Session 145: Vasselheim Investigations

General Summary

18th-20th Sydenstar 836PD   Arthur transfers the magic from Latara’s sceptre to Simeon’s quarterstaff. Orlando uses robe of eyes to exalt his goggles of the guardian.   After defeating Latara and her cultists, Nirathram thanks the Unbroken for their help and bestows the key to summoning him, the Amulet of the Lightning Bearer, to Zeni before returning to Celestia to heal. The party investigate and travel out of the Temple to Tiamat that Latara had taken over to summon Nirathram, and teleport back to Emon.    The Unbroken hold a debrief with the Tal’Dorei Council, and also learn of other forces that are joining Karkematth’s armies in the Grey Valley. The Council will amass a counter army to stop them at the centre of the continent. Deputy Chief Spy Jinarth the changeling, will join Pick in infiltrating Karkematth’s army and use a teleportation beacon that will allow the party to teleport precisely into the fray.    In the meanwhile, the Unbroken travel to Vasselheim to help the city prepare for any attack on the Platinum Dragon’s Shackle and to start research on how to create their own Mortal Shackle. Arthur, Orlando and Simeon find some initial threads of information, but they learn that they must seek the guidance of the All-Hammer to find out more.
