Session 35: The Twisting Parchwood
General Summary
1st Horisal 836PD Slaying the last troll, Ennesa then tries to resurrect Ussi, summoning the Healing Spirit of her first Ussi, a gloomstalker. But he is too far gone, and his body vanishes along with the spirit, leaving Enessa distressed. The Unbroken then (after a short rest) continue through the Parchwood Timberlands , dealing with the dangerous forest with a view minor mishaps (Raph gets numbed by a plant, Zenni swarmed by beetles). Throughout the journey Ennesa feels like she is being watched. As the approach a stream, they see a pair of Owlbears hunting. The party try to sneak around, but Zenni trips on an outstretched tree root, and goes sprawling loudly.. Battle ensues with Ceri getting engulfed and injured by a Shambling Mound. Once the battle is complete, Enessa recovers two Root Stems, which Zenni can craft into lightning talismans, negating damage for one lightning attack. As the Unbroken begin to move off, Zenni tells Raph about Eva's vision of the Hollow Man, and how it might be Raphael. Linked Journals
