Session 32: One In, One Out
General Summary
13th - 24th Duscar 835PD The party recuperate in Westruun, Raph researches more about Karkematth, the last owner of Frostweaver. An elven figure, last seen 150-200 years ago. Zeni starts looking into her marks on her arms, possibly a mark of being a stormborn. Ceri researches the Claret Order as part of her investigations into blood magic. Orlando ask's Wind's spy to find information on a dwarf, Holnom. The party stay to celebrate Winters crest on the 20th, where they meet Simeon Martingdale, an aasimar trickery cleric of the Moonweaver from Wildemount. He joins the party in the festivities, providing divine support to the group in the shooting, pie eating and arm wrestling contests. Following the celebrations the Unbroken decide to venture to Whitestone for Orlando to find out more about his gun, and learn how to better use it. Simeon is a natural fit for the party, and takes Arin's place as he must leave to further his Expositor training. On the group's lengthy travels to Whitestone, they encounter an attempted sacrifice lead by zealous preacher trying to burn his daughter, Eva, accusing her of witchcraft. The party manage to save Eva and capture the preacher away from the villagers. The preacher having held a powerful sway over the people that even Ceri's knightly status and divine persuasions could not counter, was considered too dangerous to be left alive. His punishment should fit the crime, and the party with Ceri giving the final approval, allow Raph to execute him. Eva travels with the party on their way to Whitestone. Linked Journals
