Session 158: The Storm-Born of Vengeance

General Summary

4th Fessuran 836PD   The party travel on their skyship to the target ritual site South West pincered in-between allied forces from Lyrengorn and Kraghammer.   They arrive at the site where they are soon attacked by the dominated Jinarth, several Dark Eyes cultists and Outsiders erupting from a tear in reality. The Shadow ‘Pawn’, Treacy, reveals himself. A deadly battle ensures, Arthur is quick to dispel the domination on Jinarth and bring her onto the Unbroken's side for the fight. Ceri lands the killing blow on Treacy smiting his form into shadow with the blazing light of Emberwind.   However, both Arthur and Zeni are overrun and killed by the Outsiders, but Orlando is quick to revive them both side by side. As the party take some short time to heal, Zeni places her Sceptre of Wodensdottor in the centre of the ritual site and unleashes the last cries of the fallen Inys Lloeren as a Storm of Vengeance which overpowers the Shadow Storm. Zeni fights against the presence of Tharizdun that powers the storm of fear, and as she overcomes his power she feels his scorn turn to fear. Turning the tide to the allied side, as the raging Storm culls half of the enemy forces.
