Session 5 Report

General Summary

This section of the campaign is done in a flashback, as Bear is retelling a story of the last few days to Vita as she was in cryosleep for the whole time.   These events happen on Tuesday, February 12, 2041. After finding Henry and creating a chip to reset his mental state, Rowan talks to him about his goals out of his situation. Henry tells him that he'd rather live and work with Raven microcyber so Rowan decides to go back on the program chip plan and instead agrees to take him to Raven. Raven contacts Rowze and tells her that they're wanting to meet in Watson at a club called Xade to trade off Henry. Meanwhile, Bear meets the Solo that worked with a nomad named Jason who was being hunted by Militech. Icegrave, the solo, asked Gossamer, Bear's alternate alias, to meet him at a container yard in Little Europe to talk about a job that needed to be taken care of. The job is to facilitate and guard a Friday shipment in its journey into dock. Icegrave has suspicion that Militech is trying to block the freights entry under the pretense of border control, in which Raven isn't in violation of. He believes them to be wanting to confiscate a certain confidential shipment. Bears job is to protect or if unable to protect to destroy and leave no trace of it. After briefing him of the job Icegrave gets one of his henchment Augustus to install a temporary tracking chip to Bertel to ensure he doesn't flake off the job. Icegrave mentions that Headhunter(Netrunner) will be coming along with Gossamer for the mission as she was the only one to answer his call when he reached out to her, and two others; Witchdoctor (Medtech), and Headmaster (Lawman). After returning to Rowans garage, Bear along with the crew talk about their plans to proceed with the Raven meet, and after talking about it, they head towards to the nightclub. Upon arriving Rowan breaks into the nightclub an hour earlier than the meeting time, and grabs a gang member, a gang that Raven hired as extra guns for security, and interrogates him. A teenage boy who was in the gang is interrogated but Bear stops him and they settle down at the club bar to wait. After the hour passes the meeting begins with a suit named Maximilian walking into the club. He greets Henry and hires him into the team. He mentions that the data retrieved from Rocklin through Henry was inconclusive. He trades with the crew and hands them their reward but under the promise that nothing were to happen to Henry and that they'd work with Raven for one more major mission against Militech.   After finishing the recap of that day, we Neon Prophet who recently did some perusing of the net as a newfound Media looking for rumors around Night City. The rumor that was found was that Biotechnica is building a bio-farm in the outskirts of the city, the contents of this farm is under conspiracy and it is rumored to have some of Biotechnica's most damning conspiracies.    Ben explains a new goal, the Bertel, his character, has. This in particular is the to find a seed or a living plant to use to grow his own cannabis, or synthcannabis.
