Alcotlan Adventurers Session 2 - A New Friend ⟨Again⟩

General Summary

After returning to Penca to recover from the loss of Grishin Phoenixgrain-Marblemore , the party settles in to discuss their plans. After ordering drinks, a new bar attendant inf the form of Tank overhears their discussion and requests to join their ranks in exchange for any crafting materials they acquire from their victories against the wild inhabitants of the desert.   A few hours after leaving the city, a trio of desert nomads on chariots chases down the party and begins to circle them. Just as things begin to look grim, they call off their attack and shout "Now we're even" as they ride off into the distance. Thoroughly confused, the crew continues along the river and sets up camp that night.   Seemingly unfamiliar with the concept, Tank begins piling a large mound of sand when asked to set up camp. Eirik  regales the party with a tale suspiciously similar to the supposed history of Tank. In return, Tank attempts to share a story of his own, which turns out to be a slight change to the tale jest told by Eirik.   After passing by some unusual terrain the next day, they are attacked by a Sand Elemental during the night. After dispatching the creature, Tank collects some of the sandy remains to use in future projects and Eirik pockets a fist sized tan sphere left behind.
