Session III Report

General Summary

Our party entered a cave in the mountains, per the smoke emanating from the crystal of divination they unearthed from the ruins of Sadellaren. Following carved stone walls deeper into the earth, they came across a guard, Serevol, who in suspicion, cast a gate around them. However, Khaash remained in the shadows, unseen. Serevol brought his superior along to cast Sleep, with limited success. A fight ensued, one that eventually left our heroes defeated. They surrendered and their weapons were taken, and they were put into inidividual cells. There, a strangely forgettable man, Lerasan Safor, a spectre of a fellow, spoke with each of them, it slowly dawning that the same man was somehow speaking to each of them within their cells. Safor explained that they were in a Temple of Karapholos, a dead god of suffering, and those that captured them were known as the Brotherhood of Karapholos, although Safor seemed to be under the impression that that was not their true allegiance.
