Session 12: Revenge of the Coalition Report

General Summary

Jim reunites with Elliott and we have a brief exchange where Elliott considers using the Reach, and chooses not to.... For personal reasons.   They all route around until they rejoin the rest of the group, who are still picking up the pieces (and loot) from the battle at the "Pour" house. Once Sala sheathes his sword, the Queen can resume communication and get everybody together again.   Upon reuniting, they are also rejoined by Fynbar, who wasn't really gone at all the whole time. They discuss what to do about these errant wizards. Leading strategy would be to retreat to Elliott's hidden library, although he doesn't think this is a great idea, because they may not be able to leave again once they get into it. (It has a lot of great books on history, although the really exciting books on magic can be found in the Labyrinth beneath the Library).   Sala, however, boldly suggests they go after the Coalition of Ascended, and what Sala suggests the group is slowly motivated to do. Unfortunately, he is unable to Reach directly to the Citadel, as there are forces in place preventing Pael-touched objects from functioning (including Reaches). However, Lady Stonerang seems to have an alternative. She knows a guy.   The guy turns out to by Mythias Darkmantle, Lord of a manor house somewhere within the Aeolassar province in what was once Western Altan'ruhl. Now it's a graveyard of ancient inactive golems and werewolves, punished by the Sorcerer long ago.
