The Veins of Creation

During the ancient times, a battle for creation was fought between the forces of the Forgiven, and the forces of the Forgotten. This conflict was long since missing from records and history, with millenia passing between that time and now.   In the most recent of times, two planets have fallen to the ancient force of evil known to many as the Miasma. One planet was Isaamu, home to the catfolk.   The other planet, was Earth. Far away in the Cosmos from the rest of sentient life. The inhabitants of this planet have been evacuated via ancient portals opened by the planet itself, and scattered across the Cosmos.   The party has come together in these difficult times, guided by an entity known to them as 'The Wanderer'. This old being has foreseen dark times ahead, and has pledged his support of the party. The party has, after saving a planet from consumption of the Miasma, come to be called the 'Torchbearers'.   The Cosmos has many secrets and threats abound. Evil lurks in many corners. Old Threats are abound, and even in the many bastions of civilization, these places hold evil that threaten to undermine lifetimes of progress.   These are the life and times of the Torchbearers, and the many Veins of Creation.
