General Summary

Urhum gets into the room with the help of the team. Urhum runs in and grabs a ball. The team gathers around him.   All team members grab a pair of small black spheres “balls”. A person can carry only two at a time - any more than that they tend to repel. Everyone grabs a pair spheres.   Gerome the Gnome: I put two extremely large balls inside of a sack that I hang around my waist”   Team determines that the balls are basically a confinement or some sort or trap. 7 of them are found in the room. The room has several of these spots to hold maybe thousands of these items.   A discussion goes on about the ball that Urhum has. Urhum talks to Ennamara (message in chat) about this,   Urhum tells his story, how the Lady took power and she stepped into place. About 2000 dwarves . Considers her a despot, of sorts.   Ennamara: “Do they support her leadership?” Eirselle: “They drive around the circle with giant flags in their wagons” They’re Dwarf-sters”   He believes she is “evil based on what I saw just now”. But sometimes not so evil.   They decide to try to help Urhum without letting the Lady getting the ball.   Urhum tells team that he used them to get here, and team starts to question him.   The balls appear to be a “massively jacked up version of a an old spell”. Ennamara knows that the Great Library of Santlabas may hold some secrets about these things.   The door is opened via a lever by the Gnome, but the water does not rush in…seems that there is a force field keeping the water back, similar to the effect of walking through the waterfall. The barrier is not mobile.   The Gnome pushes and breaks the pressure place system. Locks it in place. This locks a barrier on the water, and Brian cannot get into the room.   A bookcase stands out strangely, it’s painted dirty and even poorly. Eventually the Paladin and Gnome discover it’s a small treasure room. The gnome quickly opens the chest and discovers some treasure. The Gnome quickly pockets a coin purse and a scroll, though there is more to rifle through.   DM: Ennamara, Investigation check, please Ennamara: I rolled a 2 + 6, that’s an 8. A shitty roll. DM: Ok, you’re pretty sure that they’re doing a great job over there!
