One-Shot: Family In Need Report

General Summary

After being invited by Sir Robert Wilson for a mysterious request the party left Arboria for his estate. Arriving there they discovered the door was slightly ajar. Splitting up the group Horus and Emily went around the building (right side) peeking through any window they went by. Nothing seemed to stand out and arriving at the back they entered through the kitchen backdoor. The kitchen was empty but a pot of tea was brewing suggesting that people were here atleast recently.   At the same time the rest of the group entered the frontdoor entering the hallway. This hallway was also empty and they decided to enter the door on the right which let them into the study. The study was deserted except for a barely burning log in the fireplace. Continuing on they went through the door in the back of the room leading into the kitchen. Here they met up with Horus and Emily and they continued on into the main chambers. In this room they discovered the sleeping Reginald Philips on one of the couches and they woke him up. When he excused himself and exlaimed the master told him to take a nap Sir Robert arrived through the doors mumbling to himself. Seemingly a bit surprised by their arrival an awkward conversation eventually let to Robert asking them if they could help him with some malfunctioning traps in his storage room which prevented him from entering. When entering the room the traps turned out to be a magically animated armor and two blades. After an intense battle the group defeated the objects and Robert happily rewarded them for their effort (10 gold).   Finally Robert revealed the real reason he had invited them and asked if they could help him recover a stolen ring.
