Fae Group Session VI Report

General Summary

ELVARI AND ALETHE ARE SUMMONED BY SOREN

  • (Flashback in time) Elvari is summoned by Soren so that he can tell him about how the Empire Group has found the first piece of the Crown of Truth. Alethe is accidentally summoned with Elvari and confuses Soren greatly.
  • Soren ends up telling Elvari that Alethe's memories seem to have been tampered with by a god and to be wary of them. Afterwards, Soren drops them back off with the rest of the party before they enter Luflion.

THE LOST AND FOUND LEAVE LUFLION

  • (Back to the present) After Soren drops Alethe and Elvari back on top of The Lost and Found, everyone introduces them to Snahsu. They decide to get more food, clothes, and stop at the blacksmith (where Alethe causes problems and gets the Net of the Moth Catching Champion, while Charlotte gets a Warhammer of Voltage). Elvari, Luran, and some of the others go to the tavern, where Luran confirms that Elvari is a vampire from another plane of existence. Luran explains that the Feywild seems to be combining with the Feydark, and he doesn't know why.
  • Elvari tells Luran that they are on a trip to find the Crown of Truth for the god Soren, who adopted him. Luran regrets getting involved with them to an extent. Elvari then explains what Soren mentioned about Alethe having the presence of a god on him.
  • Charlotte gives Elvari some of her blood in a shed outside of the tavern after someone in the tavern seemed to have overheard their conversation (they were unable to tell who).
  • They reunite with Andrew and the others and leave Luflion. At night, they camp out.

Elvari Finds a Giant Hand & a Baby Moth Faunus

  • The Lost and Found set up camp at the first rest stop on the way to the next town (it takes 20 hours to get there, and they would have had to stop 5 times. So with this being the 1st rest stop, it took 4 hours to get there). Elvari and Alethe got there first after a flying race, and the others arrived later on foot.
  • Elvari finds a massive stone hand sticking out of the ground after he climbed a tree. Something hits his head that he swats off, and it turns out to be a Baby Moth Faunus whose wings are injured from the fall. Alethe is visibly unnerved by the baby and wants it gone. Elvari asks Alethe to help him investigate the giant stone hand while the others take care of the baby moth.
  • There is an extremely faint sense that it used to have magic that animated it, but the trace is SO old that it was likely to have been cast by a god or some other divine creature. When Elvari goes to harvest giant glowing mushrooms, it turns to be angry Myconids--which are normally found in the Feydark. Elvari gathers firewood and quickly returns to camp. The baby moth is laying in Charlotte's lap.
  • Alethe finds Luran and tells him there is something he needs to see. Elvari finds the two standing next to the stone hand, with Luran mentioning such things are more common in the Winter Fae Court. Luran explains that the hand is one of the remains of gargantuan warriors created by the gods in a war against the two sides of the gods. The gods eventually became allies and rose up to fight against the Primordials eons ago. Ever since, they have worked together.
  • From the presence of the Myconids, Luran suggests that his theory of the Feydark colliding with the Feywild might have more truth than he previously thought. He goes on to say that the Feydark is also known as the Unseelie Court, which is ruled by Nightfell Aldercrown. Criminals are usually sent to the Feydark.
  • Luran notices a lot of scratches on one side of the hand, and near it is an engraved ivory flute and two iron rings linked on a fine chain. The ivory flute causes people to dance to a Summer Fae Court song, the rings are a Ring of Invisibility and a Ring of Telekinesis.
