General Summary

THE LOST AND FOUND ARE ATTACKED BY ETTERCAPS

• The Lost and Found are attacked by Ettercaps that have taken over and contaminated the Wicked Elm Woodlands. They manage to defeat the creatures, but only after Jade is scarred on her back from one of their attacks.

THE WICKED ELM WOODLANDS BURN

• After the Lost and Found destroy a nest of Giant Spiders kept by the Ettercaps by burning them alive, Luran gathers up the fire and spreads it across the forest--completely burning down the Wicked Elm Woodlands. Luran cries as he hears the last screams of the Dryads who were trapped and unable to be freed from the Ettercaps' webs and their plague that had infected them. He explains that burning down the entire forest was the only way to salvage the land and keep the Ettercaps from spreading any further. Elvari finds a potion and an Immovable Rod in the rubble. He also leaves an offering to Awinasin, the God of Nature, who makes a flower appear.
