Session 3

General Summary

After returning to Port Nyanzaru the group, approached by the owner of the racing allosaur Nasty Boy, decides to participate in the race. Some heavy betting, and with shrewd racing strategy, Halveer Nagimar wins the race, netting everyone a tidy sum.   The next morning, the collect some guides, as well as Undril Silvertusk to head down the Shosenstar river, looking to deliver her to Camp Vengeance, and hoping along the way to find the shield guardian Vorn.   After three days of travel, they are shadowed from the shorline by mysterious figures, but don't engage them. That evening, as they are looking for a place to camp, they notice a wrecked canoe on the shore with some bodies lying nearby. As they approach, it is revealed to be an illusion placed by three Sea Hags.   After a confusing and bloody fight, they manage to dispatch the hags, and establish a camp for the night.   The next day, they continue down river and come across Camp Righteous, or at least the burned remains. They decide to disembark and search the ruins. They find very little, but are intrigued by the excavated temple shaped like a man carrying a crocodile on his back.   After much poking and prodding, they finally hit upon a method of bypassing the traps in the temple: Halveer Nagimar rides on the shoulders of Taban. This seems to disable all the traps, and allows them to easily solve the puzzle door and access the treasure room.   It is at the top of this winding staircase that they find an Alchemy Jug. Satisfied with their findings, they decide to head back to the boats.   As they approach their canoes, they find that they are missing, and the rowboats have been sabotaged as well. Then suddenly over a dozen goblins run screaming out of the ruins from all sides.
