Session 11 - After The Crocodiles
General Summary
Breaching the shrine, they manage to solve the riddle and get another of the cubes, Puzzle Cube - Papazotl Upon leaving, they glimpse some yuan-ti being pursued by some large monstrosity through the fog. They make their way south and come upon another shrine eventually. However, the yuan-ti had managed to get the cube first, and were just leaving. Throwing caution to the wind, the party attacked immediately, attempting to get the cube. The battle began to turn against them and the yuan-ti with the cube escaped, when a feathered tyrannosaurus rex crashed the party and began wantonly laying into every living creature in sight. Luckily, the group was in a position to flee into the ruins while the t-rex continued to savage the yuan-ti. Collecting themselves, they move south and see two more shrines, one which is on a sliver of land precariously perched above the lake of lava. Deciding to take the easier route, they enter Obo'laka's shrine. After some fiddling about with pools they manage to find the cube. However, they also find a red wizard that had been turned to stone upon touching the cube. In a fit of pique they decide to break parts of the statue. Then, after some fiddling with torches, they succeed in retrieving the Puzzle Cube - Obo'laka without any of their group being turned to stone. Three cubes remain. One of which they know is held by the yuan-ti, which Halveer Nagimar has to the ruined palace.
