Session 006: Khazan's Tower Report

General Summary

They went around the tower & tried to climb the scaffolding, & it collapsed.
They saw a vardo (vistani style wagon) near the tower & Blink saw that it had a note in thieves cant informing that the wagon was dangerous.  Blink looked & saw a great many bottles of alchemist fire on a line ready to explode.  The door had a Khazan cut in half & they were able to write it easily with a rock found by Blink.  It went into the door like it was sand.  It turned into a symbol for fire & ice.  Due to the anti magic field around the Tower they weren't able to use magic.

Using a tinderbox they touched flames to the fire symbol & it started glowing, & then using the snow from the blizzard they put it on the ice symbol & the door clicked & opened.
The door opened to a room with 4 chains connecting to the four corners of a 5 foot slab with 4 clay golems holding onto the chains.  When they approached the slabs their gribs tightened on the chains.  When they got on the slab they pulled them up & took them up to the fourth floor.
They found some notes, a letter, & a book.

When they left the tower the book started leaking mist & pulled everyone into it.
In the book they saw a young boy sitting on a set of stairs & behind a nearby door was a conversation occuring.  They overheard someone saying to train Strahd as he will be the one to rule the land.  To be hard on him & train him well.
A grey-skinned elf came out of the door & told Strahd that they're to start training.
They came out of the book.

Camping for the night Blink studied the tome again, unlocking the first chapter.
