Session 024: Asylum & Vallakian lynching Report

General Summary

They left Leobhard at the Asylum & he gave what he had to their new paladin friend.
She was unable to attune to the sunsword as the sunsword required a good alignment & she is neutral.
The asylum didn't allow them in to not disturb the patients, something the group didn't believe.
They spent the night on the side of the road & when they got to the bridge a revenant was walking across.  After a slight fight they discovered that he was an enemy of Strahd.  They agreed to help him track down his living relatives in Vallaki.
Afterwards Van Richten came blasting through & informed the group that he was just lynched out of Vallaki.  The people noticed Blink slide something within the illusion if the hat of Disguise & he barely escaped with his life.  And that of his sabertoothed tiger named Ramses.
Blink tested the silver against him & van richten told him that it's depending on a single metal is risky & can lead to death or infection.  Best things to use are time, & observation.  He added that just because a werebeast is known for a certain metal susceptible doesn't mean that it will be the same.  Wererats are rarely uniform within a bloodline.  There is no one method because there is no uniformity within these creatures.
