Session 9: The Black Box & Stuff Report

General Summary

Kuyuk, First Mate, and Izzak ate the fish Kuyuk had salted at the Burning Chemist, and went to catch new ones! Generally having a splendid time about it.   Kree followed a signal on the western docks to a creepy shadowed figure. After getting the drop on it and attempting to intimidate the being with the guild's reputation, he was confronted by a ghastly inhuman being. Nearly ten feet tall with gaunt elomngated limbs and long taloned fingers, the being was missing a nose and had a creepy wide skeletal smile. It offered Kree a coinpurse and a promise of more riches to come if Kree would capture or damage the crystal held by The Mother within the mists.   Cordelia, Deeq, and Tahar managed to find the wreckage of The Winds of Colour. They explored it, and managed to find a black box currently held by Deeq, as well as a second black container held by cordelia that was in Azzakh's quarters. Tahar noticed strange waves in the sea, and recognized the wildlife's reaction to something amiss. He took charge of the situation and lowered himself into the depths to help his friends. Deeq took that time to head back to the surface for some much needed air, while Cordelia tried to understand what Tahar was doing down in the depths.   Shortly after the exchange, the seabed began to shake, and the sandy bottom started to agitate and kick up into the water. Something large was causing a disturbance likely from inside the hole in the seabed.
