General Summary

They turn around and see a dark figure in the dimly lit hallway. It hisses in a barely audible voice "Hello." Kaywa shouts at the figure "HI." It hisses and falls back into the darkness. They run to the end of the hall, they can go left or right, Kaywa rolls a 19 for Wisdom, they go left and run down the dark hall, eventually, they see at the end a circular room filled with gold. Billy waits in the hall as Kaywa walks in. A massive Sandscripter sits curled up in the middle. She questions the Sandscripter. "Who are you." "I am Cobra." They learn that Cobra used to be a man until a jewel infested his mind and transformed him painfully into a Sandscripter, he can only go back to being a man every 3 months on the 20th day. They learn that they need to defeat the Gobling king to end the Great Gobling War, the war has already raged for a year. "What is this place." "This is the Oasis, travelers, and people seeking refuge come here." "How do people know that it's here." "In the beginning of Faran, there is a myth that a Hidden oasis is near Lavanberry."..."Why do we need to end the war." "You have the ability to think for yourselves, you have to will power to defeat their king." "Where is their king." No one knows but I am for certain that he is still alive, a possible place he is hiding in the Mountian. It can only be opened by a key during the Summer Oasis." After a bit more questioning Cobra says "Come to the surface with me." Billy comes into the room. He lays down as Kaywa and Billy jump onto his back. Cobra telekinetically moves the sand as he burrows upwards. They are protected by his scales, they finally meet the surface, he sits them their and leaves them with a scroll. He dives back into the ground. As they unroll the scroll they see the map showing where the king may be. It shows The Plain Buff, at the foot of the mountain a town called Sharpton. Small pieces are torn from it, the put the map together and how it to the moon, they can see the writing slowly class across the page. Eventually, the entire map is rewritten. The mountain is now called Flame, the village at its feet is now called False Wood and is a thick forest. Flame now shows bridges connecting its newfound peaks, it shows a waterfall to the side with plenty of trees. Suddenly the map is starting to cover up itself with the same writing as on the first note. "HELP ME." "I CAN'T LEAVE." starts filling the page. Billy takes out his Pendulum and Tarot cards. He shuffles and cuts the deck, he pulls out Death, The High Priestess upside down, and the 3 of Swords. [Death; new beginnings and letting go. The High Priestess, flipped; wishing is good, the action is better. The 3 of Swords; emotional damage is on the way, pain is necessary for growth.] Billy holds the Pendulum in his right hand and holds it over his left.  They ask if someone is inside the map, it says yes, a few questions later they see a projection stone light, It's the spirit of a charming young man. It's about 15 feet away, just as he's about to speak the sun rises and he disappears. They pick up the stone and start walking to Lavanberry, as soon as they enter the boundaries the see something is wrong, everyone is missing and the houses are dusty and empty. They see some boats on the shore and run over, the boats are empty and dusty too, the reach inside one, its a map with the date 1033. One year after, its still the first month. They hop in one and take off, the follow the map into the current as they turn around they see sand pilling on top of Lavanberry hiding its many secrets. It buries the library and walls. The middle of town is transformed into an oasis. The entire town is covered in sand, leaving nothing behind.
