Created : 12th April 2009 Render Engine : Vue 7; Notes : This image was conceived, constructed and rendered on Easter Day 2009 and was posted before midnight local time. Perhaps somewhere in another dimension, a place and a scene like this will take place or has taken place on another Easter. The terrain was made in a demo version of world machine and (after much tweaking) a single material on this terrain gave me a sub surface lake bed and a suitable shade for the higher ground as well as hosting the rocks on the lake floor. The forest was then ecopainted on top. A green volumetric spot light was used with the sun to enrich the colours.
