Esman with an elephant bird egg
The esmans inhabit the island of Esm in the eastern Galafam Sea, where they've lived relatively isolated for millennia and are considered strange by their neighbours. Elephant birds are endemic to the island and are sacred to the esmans and thus may not be harmed, but a few eggs are harvested each year for certain ceremonies.
