The ovine Hyrríans, like many other inhabitants of the Múlíat Mountains, often encountered Zúattans early in their history before the latter became extinct, millennia ago. Their indifference towards outsiders, and tendency to just stand still and stare at them became the source of numerous myths and folklore, long after their disappearance. This Hyrrían cave painting shows a Zúattan by a river, surrounded by his flock of antelopes and sheep.
