Ellie encounters a Quibnocket named Pipwhistle. Ellie calls him Pip. A pickpocket and trickster.   Similar to leprechauns, Quibnockets have a mischievous glint in their twinkling eyes. They can blend into shadows despite their vibrant, patchwork cloak stitched from the remnants of travelers’ garments. They are skilled pickpockets and can create illusions that dance in the air.   They are jovial and have a mop of wiry hair. Speaks in riddles and rhymes. Despite their penchant for petty thievery, Quibnockets have a heart of gold, hidden beneath layers of cunning and playfulness. They have a deep, resonant laugh, reminiscent of the tinkling of bells, often giving away their hiding spots, yet they somehow manage to stay one step ahead.   Though initially a thorn in the side of many, Quibnockets true nature is that of a guardian of forgotten lore and lost paths. They become unlikely allies, whose tricks and illusions serve to protect, guide, and occasionally confound.   In the end, a Quibnocket's role transcends that of a mere pickpocket; he is a catalyst for change, a bringer of light cloaked in the guise of a trickster, whose deepest joy comes from seeing the seeds of greatness unfold in those he deems worthy of his peculiar brand of meddling.
