DAAAMB boy, you sho did power up that thar Aka-lashi. I was looking at Bill Gant's D&D Hârn Bestiary for a comparison: AC 11, HP 51, Immunity to Poison, Regeneration 5 HP per round.
STR 19 (+4) DEX 8 (-1) CON 16 (+3) INT 5 (-3) WIS 7 (-2) CHA 7 (-2)
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft. one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage.
No wonder they barely made it out alive.
I brought a copy of Bill Gant's D&D Hârn Bestiary, which I liked very much, and referenced it when I was creating this beastie. However, in the end, I decided to reskin a small black dragon, which proved to be a suitable challenge for the heroes. This particular group of characters has a very high damage output so I need a lot to challenge them.
