Vevúni pillars
The vevúni of central and eastern Túlmikkía perform all their major rituals around a sacred pillar in the center of a ceremonial plaza. These pillars vary greatly in terms of materials and shape, ranging from brightly painted wooden ones to plainer terracotta ones, as depicted here.
