The taxótani tribes native to the Talax Mountains in NE-Túlmikkía keep dogs to hunt small game and protect their owners, though more recently they've become popular pets among ænateans as well. While most talacean hunting dogs have pointed ears, some such as the one depicted here have floppy ones, a trait more common among closely related breeds found to the west.
