How to create subscriber access codes

With subscribers, you can make your private content visible to specific people to curate their experience when reading your world. For example, you could use this to reveal secret information to the only player who knows it or to give additional content to your book readers. As a Sage member of the Guild, you don't have to manually give someone a specific subscriber role. You can create subscriber access codes so that others can assign themselves to specific subscriber groups in your world. To do that, follow these steps:

  1. You first need to create the subscriber group you want people to join, if you haven't already. To do that follow this guide.
  2. After that's done, click the gear icon in the sidebar and then the Subscribers & Authors option.
  3. Click on the ''Access Codes'' tab on the top. This is what that page will look like:
  4. On the right, you can create your subscribers code.
  5. Fill in the title, the code itself and select the subscriber group from the dropdown. You can also optionally add a description, add a maximun number of uses if you want to limit the number of uses and choose an expiry date if you want.
  6. Click the ''Create Code'' button. Your code will appear in this page, where you can always edit its settings again by clicking the '' Manage'' button.
  7. Now all you need to do is share this code along with the link that you will find in the quick tutorial box on that same page. That link will lead the recipients to a page in your world where they can enter this code and join the subscriber group. This is what it will look like:
