On World Anvil, articles are the powerhouse of your worldbuilding. Each article has a scrapbook, where you can write anything you want. The scrapbook is only visible to you and your world's editors. Here are a few tips on how you can use the article scrapbook!
How to access the article scrapbook
- First of all, head to your article's edit page.
- On the right, click on the ''Open Advanced Tools & Options'' button.
- Find the scrapbook field.
Tip! You can expand the scrapbook field to make it bigger, by dragging the bottom right corner.
Tips on how to use it
- Collect your thoughts. You can write your notes, ideas or main points that you want to write about in this specific article. Create the article, choose the title and then make some notes in the scrapbook before starting your writing!
- Keep edit notes. You can use the scrapbook to keep your edit notes during the writing process of your article, or after that when you make a change or want to note down a correction.
- Leave notes to your co-authors. You can also add edit notes or other comments for your co-authors to see. It's the perfect place to communicate with them regarding your article, as the scrapbook is visible to only you and them.
- Add URLs. Use the scrapbook to keep the URLs related to your article, be it a reference, inspiration or context.
