Secrets let you keep information private from your audience even if it's embedded in a public article. Here's how to embed a secret!
If you're using the Visual (simple/default) editor:
- Type / to open the commands menu or click on the icon when you mouse over the block line.
- Select the Secret block command.
- Choose the secret you want to embed!
If you're using the Advanced (Euclid) editor:
The simplest way is to simply type an open bracket [ and start typing the name of the secret. A drop-down will appear with an option to embed the secret directly.
However, you can also follow these steps:
- Click on Secrets in the left sidebar.
- Locate the clipboard button next to the secret you want to embed and click it.
- Paste into any article or other BBCode-enabled field (almost everywhere on World Anvil) to embed it.
