Embedding categories as books is a great way to visually invite your readers to learn more about specific areas of your world. The mock-up on the right shows how it will look with the default theme; here's how to do it!
If you're a Guild member, simply type an open bracket [ and start typing the name of the category. Choose the category link for the one you want to embed, and in the BBCode tag that will be generated, change category for book. For example, [category:id-here] will become [book:id-here].
Otherwise, follow these steps:
- Go to the Articles interface in the sidebar.
- Select the category you want to link to in the category tree on the left.
- A panel will open on the right. Click on "Show additional options".
- Scroll down and locate the "Category book widget" option. Copy the BBCode tag and paste it anywhere to create the book embed.
You can customize the book cover image by editing the category in advanced mode.
