How to embed Manuscripts in your articles

Follow these steps to learn how to embed a Manuscript in an article or your world's homepage. Take a look at the mock-up example on the right to see how Manuscript embeds look.

  1. Open your Manuscript for editing.
  2. On the left navigation panel, click the name of the Manuscript to access the Manuscript's configuration page.
  3. Find the Export tab on the right. Copy the embed code, which looks like [manuscript:...].
  4. Paste the code in any BBCode-enabled field (like the article or homepage editor) to embed it.

Embedding a chapter or scene

The process is similar for chapters and scenes:

  1. Click on the chapter or scene you want to embed on the left.
  2. On the right, click the cog tab and scroll to the bottom.
  3. Copy the [manuscriptpart:ID] tag and paste it anywhere!

This will create an inline link by default. To embed it as a block (like the general manuscript embed), you can simply use the |block option, like this: [manuscriptpart:ID|block].
