Hello,   I saw that when I visit my WorldAnvil website with my custom domain, some of the images (for example the zoom in/out buttons for the family-tree or the smilies for the relationships status) seem to disappear. When I visit my website with the World Anvil domain, the images show correctly. I suspect their is something is wrong with the custom domain installation?

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to this example page with the custom domain: https://fieldofstories.com/a/aloysius-rothfeld 2. Scroll to the family tree OR Relationships. 3. The images for the zoom buttons of the family tree and relationship emoticons are missing 4. Go to the same example, but with the WA domain: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/ayrngaer/a/aloysius-rothfeld 5. The images show correctly.

Changed title from "Images" to "Font Awesome Icons" ... missing only when visiting custom domain"

hello there - sadly font awesome has moved to a modal that is pay per page load so we had to restrict the domain to only World Anvil (or have people using our kit in their own domains) -- We are working with them to find a solution and we are also working internally to figure out a good way to manage this.

Bug is duplicate of Fontawesome icons missing on custom domain

Is there something I can do in the meantime as a sort of workaround?

Hello. I was wondering if there was an update about this already. At the moment, some of the functions on my website have problems, like the maps and family trees, because the icons for zooming in and out are gone.

I will follow up with Dimitris on Monday. We do have an idea for a potential solution, but we need to discuss and plan the implementation. While not ideal, you can temporarily direct/instruct users to use the worldanvil.com domain path for your world. When the fix is ready to be deployed, we'll drop a comment here (and possibly on the Discord server)

OK. Thank you for your quick reply. :)
