I had this cover image issue too. The cover image displayed correctly until I changed the cover image. When I viewed the article, it behaved as if there was no header at all. (But it showed up on the edit screen...) I tried .webp and .jpg images

I am also having this difficulty. But not with all images, it seems very inconsistent. I tried deleting and re-uploading an image. Tried different images, and some work, some do not.   This problem has not occurred previously, despite having done this many, many times.

I'm having the same issue. I tried to change the image, and it stopped working. If I delete them, they go back to showing the default, but as soon as I put a new image, it stops working. I am doing the correct size of 1920x500. I've tried more than one different image, and still doesn't work. I'm having this issue on Microsoft Edge, Windows 11 OS.

experiencing the same, I also believe this may be the culprit for thumbnails not showing the images from articles on interactive charts
