Hello there CiciWolf!   This is not a bug, it is mostly a recent experiment. We made some of the entities go directly to their edit screen.   The reason we did that is because we believed (please feel free to give me your opinion in this) that for some entities, like Statblocks, just adding a name does not constitute an actual creation of the thing. It makes sense ot crreate a short article by just adding a note about its contents, or a secret (since you can feel almost everything), or an event but for things like Maps, Timelines and statblocks we thought people would most likely want to go the edit screen and not have to click an additional button to do that.   I would love to hear your thoughts. Since this is not a bug I will be closing this, but I will be able to see any reply you post, and look forward for it   Dimitris

I have a tendency to create large groups of statblocks at once. This is because I create my own templates for the blocks to ensure I can fix any issues with display and can ensure the information I want is available, as well as having (mostly) sequential numbering in each group of blocks. With the old system I was able to start from the statblock management page, create a new block of a template and then use the "create another of this type" button to work through the list of new blocks I wanted to add. That button is no longer available, and having to re-open the hammer menu every time after the page reloads slows my time significantly. I thought, since the "create another" does appear, that it was not intentional.

Also, while only a name does not a statblock create, blocks do not automatically appear anywhere, and are not visible to others on World Anvil unless a setting is selected. This means that until the block link or embed is placed somewhere no one else sees it. So, batch adding, then batch editing for the information at a later time is generally how I add things like weapons, spells, or feats/talents.
