AUTOSAVE in MANUSCRIPTS NOT WORKING (& DELETE in both manuscripts & photos) (perhaps other places)
Jun 26 used Manuscripts for the first time, successfully as expected (Loaded 10 titles, and perhaps 40 scenes) √ saved - all good! Jun 27 it no longer worked (it kept deleting the text I had loaded into each scene WHEN I clicked to a different scene and then returned - the screen appears blank, all text is gone) NO SAVED button had been appearing - tried numerous times, sometimes the title of the scene wouldn't save, most times it would. NEVER saw Saved. * I tried deleting the empty scene files I had created, by dragging them below the bin (they wouldn't go "IN" (or indent)) * I tried creating new scenes to start again - same result * repeated above in brand new Manuscript - same result * I tried deleting the Manuscript I marked "faulty" but it did nothing, did not delete Jun 28 * I tried testing small chunks of text. It DID take a few into the scene editor, up to 4K words, but then began deleting previous chunks and not all, just seemed to be deleting the chunks backwards each time. * I tried deleting images, from the red delete button at the bottom of the right hand panel with the image selected, in case loading covers had caused an issue. It did nothing again, would not delete.

I did not check how much of the world could be affected - seems like an overall saving issue on both save and delete. I'm stepping away till it's fixed... don't want to spoil anything else. :) Thanks!History
Hey, I cannot reproduce any of that Can you give me the name and ideally id of impacted manuscript so i can look if something is specific to this one ?
I think the autosave issue was certain emojis I used to mark up places to fix with so if I don't copy/paste the word before and after, now that part seems to be working well... or possibly it's just working because I switched to Firefox... and any rate all good on that part... √ Also, now in Firefox, I WAS able to move the blank scenes I'd created to fill under the bin, but not sure if I'm to empty that bin. And also, unsure where to find the ID number for the manuscript (possibly because I haven't even hit publish on a chapter yet). The only number I could find was... Scene 1-not loaded just yet in Otherborn: The Canyon - Faulty (does this help?) Can't find red delete button, but perhaps not looking in the right section? / And the delete trash can icon doesn't delete it. And while I am here, is there a gallery of all my manuscripts, showing their covers, like in Janet's video? I'm not finding that. Or is that a hit publish first issue again? So much I don't know yet! Thank you! :)
So in order :
Don’t close the ticket, please! We haven’t worked out the delete issue yet. I’m hoping you will guide me first, and then I will be able to test it by Wednesday and let you know then if it’s working once you fill in my blanks in terminology… Sorry, what is the new interface you refer to or how do I get to it? And does it have a special name I am to look for? I am brand new here. Thanks! Appreciate it lots! This platform is the greatest… but wholly overwhelming just now… :0 lol Cheers!
Hi again, so I wait for a new manuscript update, and just leave it alone until then? Is that the idea? Is that what you meant? :) If it is a fix coming up as can happen, I’m all good and yes you could close the ticket. : D

I was just coming here to say that autosave doesn't work in Manuscripts if the last thing I do is a formatting thing, like changing a font colour. I have to hit the space bar or make some other text change after that, in order to trigger autosave. Hope that helps.
