Map cannot be changed to Public

I am trying to modify my maps' status from private to public, but public is not available in the dropdown. This happens with pins/lines on a map as well

Steps to Reproduce

Maps-->select Map-->Map Settings-->Display and Privacy--> Status

IS your map part of a private world? From what I can see if this is your world, you have one world and it is private. If that is the case, this is the reason the map cannot become public. This was requested by members of the community in the past, I cannot remember the reasoning right now but it is not a bug but a feature. Please let me know if you still have an issue if you have turned your world public
