Vocru is multi-dimensional, and one must tread carefully between what is termed "Real" and what is experienced as "Real."
Quasireal Ontic Sphere
Quasireal entities within the appropriately-named Sphere of
Quasireality are not held "Real" in the absolute sense in Vocru ontological or
epistemological models. They possess (lower case-E) existence, yes, but their being is qualified. Their experiences, while valid in their own frame of reference, might not hold the same weight or consequence as those within the true
Sphere of Existence.
Despite their status, Quasireal entities often grapple with the quest for authenticity, much like any other sentient being.
Existential Validation
Every entity, regardless of its ontic status, seeks to validate its existence. This is a foundational drive, stemming from the desire to matter, to have purpose and
Meaning.
However, the benchmark for "Reality" isn't universally fixed. What's real in one Ontic Sphere or dimension may be an illusion in another.
Quantum-Conceptual Realm
Entities existing primarily as ideas, potentials, or possibilities occupy a
unique space. Their "Reality" isn't diminished just because they exist in a realm of potentiality. Instead, their existence is probabilistic, with various states of potential actualization. Their perceived memory and future are constructs that give depth and dimension to their existence, even if they aren't "Real" in the traditional sense.
The Test of Reality
Is there a foolproof way to know if one's "Real" or not? Not necessarily. Reality, as perceived by any entity, is a blend of external stimuli and internal cognition. An entity's conviction of its reality is a product of its experiences, understanding, and the feedback it receives from its environment.
However, the Vocru believed in certain cosmic litmus tests, rooted in their advanced understanding of quantum mechanics and metaphysics. These tests could gauge the ontic weight of an entity, determining its Reality Quotient. But even these tests weren't without their limitations or controversies.
Does the Distinction Matter?
At an individual or existential level, yes, the distinction can be crucial. The validation of one's existence, the craving for meaning, the yearning for a purpose — these are innate to sentient entities.
However, at a cosmic or universal scale, the lines blur. The universe is an intricate dance of potentials, actualities, and in-betweens. Each entity, whether Real, Quasireal, or Quantum-Conceptual, plays a part in this grand symphony. Their individual notes, while distinct, come together to create the music of the cosmos.
The journey to ascertain one's "Reality" is deeply personal and often rife with philosophical, scientific, and existential challenges. But it's this very journey that enriches the tapestry of Existence and adds depth to the cosmic narrative. Remember, in the vastness of the universe, the question isn't just about being "Real" but about the richness of one's experiences and the wisdom one garners from them.
