Anterians

There are a scant-few very old sites and artifacts that pre-date the Ancients. Very little is known about these people and researchers have given them the name Anterians (from the root, "ante" - to come before) or the people who came before the Ancients. What few fragments of writing exist frequently depict animal and racial shapes. This has led to many theories, the major ones bewing:

• A civilization consisting of the major races
• An independent race that died out or left the Primean System
• Progenitors or ancestors of one or more of the modern races
• A shape-changing race
• Divine or highly advance beings that dwell elsewhere
