Elisi

Elisi is now mostly devoid of life following the fiery Elisi Cataclysm.
What has been learned
Orbital Expeditions have observed an atmosphere of smoke, ash and dust. It has been called the Cataclysm Shroud. It appears to be at least 1 mile thick. At times plumes of roiling fire burp thorugh the smoke and ash.
A maned flight into the shroud was never heard from again.
There was a known teleportaiton circle in Baeth - it appears to be non-functioning.
Teleportation circle (5th) fails because all known circles on Elisi have been destroyed.
Dimension Door (4th) - not enough distance (only 500 ft)
Clairvoyance (3rd) - not enough range (1 mile)
Arcane Gate (6th) does not work (can't see through fire/smoke)
Via Commune Spell:

• A very small fraction of people, deeper under the surface did survive.
• The planet surface was wracked with major fire damage.
• It is "unclear" if the surface is inhabitable.
• The place is dangerous - power entities survived or arrived here.

History
Elisi once was home to an Etolarian colony established by Lord Rensmort McLaren (see McLaren Dynasty ) and Wood Elves which lived their in harmony. From time to time the orcs native to Elisi would rise up against the settlements (both Human and Wood elf).

Its current name Elisi (as the humans call it) is derived from celestial real of Elysium. The planet was named by a young astronomer who was enamored by its brilliance.
