Greenbriar is a small village located in Western Tremon in Platinum Pass and sits alongside Sutters Creek.

Greenbriar gets its name from the thorny briars that dominate the landscape in the uplands.
At one time the Braxton Brothers Mine heavily factored into Greenbriar's economy, but the operators tunneled into an ancient shrine and were forced to abandon the site and seal it up. The mine closing had an impact on the town's economy, but fortunately it lies on a main road in Western Tremon.
