Lorcaster University

Lorecaster University is actually spread over various parts of Lorcaster. The most scenic and most prominent is the college of Arcana.

The College of Arcana

A circular 40 ft. wide deep river surrounds a 1/4 mile wide plateau thar rises 50 ft. above the river.

The river is swift flowing rapids with no apparent start or end.

Upon the plateau sets the the College Keep (aka Mhergalis Keep). An ivy covered wall is barely visible and numerous buildings rise above the greenery.

A magestic stone bridge connects the city to the isle's Barbican gate house.

Roughly 150-200 professors, 70 staff / employees and 2000 students are here at any given time.

Inside Mhergalis Keep

Odd Quad

The students refer to the four structurs as the "Odd Quad"

The four buildigs are identical in design - stone strucures with butressed walls - wood floors within. The rear of each faces a common court yard with an alley that leads out of the court yard. The interior first floor labs have double doors alowing horses and wagons to drop of items of interest, supplies, etc.

30 Faculty can occupy each hall, more if they share office space.

Most of the faculty are accomplished spell casters, as such this is not the place to run amok during the day or evenings.

Animated guards patrol the interior at night and elite security patrols outside.

There is almost always staff, students or undergrads working late.

Quadrochrono

​Quadrochron is a four-faced clock tower. Each clock face has "grandfather" time features upon it and they are seen to move.

It is actually a construct that stands sentry over the entire Magical College. Most people are not aware of this fact. Perception +10 Has permanent comprehend languages

Mhergalis Manor house

The Manor house holds all the neceseties of the student life are here, Great Hall, bookstore, supplies, counselors, study halls, libraries, etc.

Mhergalis Dormitories

The Dorms are arranged into two halves, Male and Female

Each Dorm has five levels and is further divided by class.

The first floor houses amenities (laundry, restrooms, lounges, mail, front desk, etc.)

The second store is primarily senior students (Seniors)

The third floor is (Juniors)

The fourth floor is (Sophomors)

The fifth floor is (Freshman)

Vaults

There have always been rumors that ther are secured and secret vaults and libraries beneath Mhergalis Keep - tyically refered to as Mhergalis Vaults or the Mhergalis Libraries.

Staff Housing

A long row of duplex town homes​ house the professor staff. Not all of them choose to live on campus and more than half live off campus.

The Great Lawn

A well kept grassy lawn surrounding the buildings and spilling out to the surrounding walls with trees and shrubs and reflecting pools. It is a place where students can get outside in relatively safe quarters.
