Sobek

Sobek was considered a violent, hyper-sexual, and erratic deity, prone to his primal whims. The origin of his name either means "to impregnate" or "to unite". Sobek is often depicted as a participant in the resurrection of Osiris (healing and reattaching his limbs) and so Sobek is considered a protective deity warding off evil and protecting the innocent.
